Nycomed China

Nycomed China is the Representative Office of Nycomed Pharma, and was set up in Shanghai in 1994.

Nycomed China has expanded quickly and now employs a staff of more than 100. Nycomed China is represented across China, with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, and Medical Representatives in all important provincial capitals and key secondary cities.

Considering the characteristics of China's pharmaceutical market and needs of doctors and patients Nycomed China selected some unique pharmaceuticals from its international product portfolio: Actovegin®, (protein free bovine blood extract), Gutron® (midodrine) and Xafon® (LornoXicam)

In markets where Nycomed China does not have an appropriate service organisation for a particular product, our strategy is to out-license proprietary products i.e. Calcichew , Condylox® (podophyllotoxin).

Nycomed China has built up a substantial infrastructure and an extensive importer, distributor and customer network. The company has the full infrastructure of a large pharmaceutical company.
